The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence on Monday 20th April 2020 at 3.30 pm from Social Policy and Children’s Committee Chair, Hon Chris Thomas MHK, and Safeguarding Board Chair, Glenys Johnston. This is a general oral evidence hearing in which various aspects of the topic of safeguarding will be discussed. The members of the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee appointed by Tynwald are Mr Martyn Perkins MHK and Ms Julie Edge MHK. 

The Legislative Buildings remain closed to the public. The Committee, staff and witnesses will all participate remotely in this meeting. The evidence will be able to be heard via the livestream on the Tynwald website here. The recording will also be available after the session under the “Listen Again” section of the website here and a Hansard transcription will be published in due course.
