As part of its inquiry into nursery place provision, the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee will be taking oral evidence from representatives of four Departments on Friday 2nd February 2018 at 2pm.

Appearing before the Committee will be: from the Department of Education, Sport and Culture, Early Years Advisor, Ms Chrissy Callaghan; from the Treasury, Chief Executive, Mrs Sheila Lowe; from the Department for Health and Social Care, Chief Executive, Dr Malcolm Couch; and Deputy Chief Executive, Mr Carl Hawker, from the Department for Enterprise.

The Members of the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee taking evidence will be Mr David Cretney MLC (Chair), Ms Julie Edge MHK, and Mr Martyn Perkins MHK.

The hearing will take place in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. Members of the public are welcome to attend, or listen via the ‘live and listen again’ audio webcast service on the Tynwald website.
