Following a trial period of sitting at 2.30pm the Legislative Council sitting time will be changing to 10am on Tuesdays with effect from its next sitting on 23 July 2024. The original aim of reducing the occasions on which sittings of the Branches overlap was only partially successful and so it has been agreed that going forward the Legislative Council sitting time will be the same as that of Tynwald and the House of Keys.  

Sittings will still be held in public and fully livestreamed via “live and listen again” audio webcast service on the Tynwald website.
