SAPRC: Mental Health
The intention of this Committee in this inquiry is to effectively audit current mental health services. Consideration will be given to how waiting lists could be reduced, particularly through investment in early intervention. Children’s mental health is therefore a focus.
This follows on from previous reports of this Committee into mental health:

- Second Report for the Session 2020-21: Mental Health and Suicide Follow-Up Report
As acknowledged in its November 2019 report, the two topics – mental health and suicide – are related but not the same.
