Public Accounts Committee to take evidence on IOMSPC independent review report

The Public Accounts Committee, a standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence in public at 2.30pm on Wednesday 23rd June 2021 from:

This session is being held as part of the Committee’s inquiry into the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and the border protocols during the pandemic.

Mr Hind was appointed to conduct an independent review into the circumstances of the outbreak of COVID-19 in February 2021 in relation to the IOM Steam Packet Company; the review was conducted at the request of the Chief Minister, Hon. Howard Quayle MHK.

This session will focus on Mr Hind’s final report dated 18th May 2021 titled ‘Review into the February 2021 COVID-19 Outbreak and its relation to the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company’.

The evidence will be taken in public in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas. Members of the public are welcome to attend. The proceedings can be heard via the ‘live and listen again’ audio webcast service on the Tynwald website here: and a Hansard transcription will be published in due course.
