Meat Plant: Committee to take evidence

​The Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee will be taking oral evidence on Monday 26th April 2021 at 2.30pm. 

The Committee will hear from Mr Ian Mansell, Director of Regulation, and Mr Glenn Blacker, Head of Environmental Health, Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture. The focus of the hearing will be on how the Meat Plant is regulated, in particular with regard to food hygiene and health and safety issues.  

The evidence will be taken in public in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas; members of the public are welcome to attend.  The evidence can also be heard via the “live and listen again” audio webcast service on the Tynwald website.

The Members elected to the Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee are Clare Barber MHK (Chairman), Chris Robertshaw MHK, and Rob Mercer MLC.  More information about the Committee’s work can be found on the Tynwald website.
