Health and Social Care Minister to appear before Committee

The Social Affairs Policy Review Committee, a Standing Committee of Tynwald, will be taking oral evidence on Monday 9th November 2020 in the Legislative Council Chamber, Legislative Buildings, Bucks Road, Douglas.

Evidence will be heard from the following persons at the times stated:

At 10.30am:Deborah Brayshaw, Director of Children and Families Services

At 2pm: Department of Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford MHK and Interim CEO Kathryn Magson

The focus of the hearings will be the operation and functioning of the Children and Families Service, as well as the impact of Covid-19 on service provision. The Committee has previously conducted an inquiry in to the Children and Families Service, the final report of which can be viewed here.

The members of the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee appointed by Tynwald are Ms Julie Edge MHK (Chair), Mr Martyn Perkins MHK and Mr Peter Greenhill MLC.
